ERIE (AP) — Authorities say three people, including a child, were rescued from Presque Isle Bay in northwestern Pennsylvania after a sailboat tipped over.

Coast Guard officials told the Erie Times News that an adult and a child fell off the sailboat after it tipped over at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Officials said a third person jumped in off a jet ski to help the people in the water.

Crews from the Fish and Boat Commission pulled the three from the water to the Niagara boat launch at Presque Isle State Park.

One person remained on the sailboat, which made it to shore without help.
