Portion of I-70 work complete

Single-lane closures on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 in the area of the Speers Bridge have been lifted.

The westbound I-70 travel lane will be closed beginning Sept. 26 and continuing through Sept. 30, weather permitting. The following week, from Oct. 3 to Oct. 6, the westbound passing lane will be closed.

Long delays are expected, similar to the ones resulting from the eastbound closures.
