Police beat Sept. 17
Theft charge: A Mississippi woman was charged Thursday with burglary for allegedly forcing her way into a Franklin Township house. State police said Paxton Genet Sanderford, 22, of Mize, knocked on the door of a Morris Street residence around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. When Caitlin Fess answered the door, police said, Sanderford allegedly forced her way inside and the two women began to argue. Police said Sanderford punched Fess multiple times and pulled her hair, causing Fess to drop her iPhone and Vera Bradley case on the floor. Police said Sanderford took the phone and case and returned to her camper trailer at 222 Halls Road in Jefferson to pack her bags and head to Mississippi. Sanderford was also charged with theft, receiving stolen property and harassment. She is being held at the Greene County jail on $10,000 bond as she awaits her Sept. 22 preliminary hearing before Judge Lee Watson in Carmichaels.
Harassment charge: Kristine Marie Seeholzer, 27, of 1012 Toms Run Road, Holbrook, was cited by state police with harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting, hitting and scratching a 35-year-old woman about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 3 at the victim’s Hull Run Road residence in Morgan Township, according to court documents.
