Woman jailed: Sherry Lynn Fordyce, 46, of 202 A Russie Ave., Bentleyville, is charged by borough police with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, court record show. Fordyce is accused of striking Amanda Richardson with a large rock after also using it to break the windshield of a vehicle belonging to the victim about 8:15 p.m. Saturday outside of Richardson’s residence. Fordyce is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Drinking citation: Borough police cited Eric Mata-Rae, 18, of Pittsburgh, for underage drinking after an incident in the Third Street Kwik Fill parking lot Sunday.

Disorderly house charge: Justin Snyder, 27, of Edgewood, Md., was cited for violating the borough ordinance concerning disorderly houses after a Sunday incident at 632 Vulcan Village.

Man jailed: Elijah Yarbrough, 20, was placed in Washington County jail Sunday on an active probation warrant from Venango County. A borough police officer took Yarbrough into custody after seeing him on Chartiers Avenue.

Group cited: Six people were cited for harassment Saturday after an incident in the 100 block of West College Street. According to the report, Mikayla Allen, Brian Noble, Cia Dodworth, Kathleen Lapina, Christina Allen and Christopher Confer were observed arguing after a physical altercation.

Charged in traffic stop: Christopher Daniel Thomas Jr., 22, of 750 Ewing St., Washington, is charged by state police with possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number, flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest and possession of a firearm without a license, court records show. Police said a handgun was found in the passenger area of a vehicle that was stopped by a trooper at Grove and Wayne avenues about 6 a.m. Sunday. Thomas is accused of fleeing from the vehicle’s passenger door and being apprehended in Washington’s West End following a foot pursuit. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Assault alleged: Henry Norquist, 49, of 415 Shady Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he choked Rhonda Norquist and struck a man about 1:15 p.m. Saturday at his residence, court records show. Norquist is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Information sought: State police are seeking information about a man who entered a home at 2132 Avella Road around 11 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information can call police at 724-223-5200.

Assault charge: Matthew J. Jefferson, 32, of 405 Third St., Marianna, was placed in Washington County jail Monday on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after a domestic incident. According to state police, Jefferson struck a woman with a closed fist, put her in a headlock and threw her into a wall. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in jail on $35,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Oct. 3 before District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Items stolen: An employee of Gianni’s Pizza, 116 S. McDonald St., reported a Sept. 6 theft to borough police. Security footage revealed a white man wearing a dark tank top and shorts take a case of beer, then return a few minutes later and take a cake from a cooler.

McDonald’s struck: A vehicle driven by a Mt. Lebanon man jumped the curb and struck McDonald’s, 3723 Washington Road, on Saturday and knocked a hole in the wall. The driver, Dominic Coppola, 79, was not injured. The vehicle was driven from the scene, police said.

Assault alleged: Loenell Jaeme Howze, 33, of 2100 Beaver St., McKeesport, is charged by township police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief over allegations he struck his girlfriend, Jabressa Ross, and damaged some of her property about 9:10 p.m. Thursday at Rostraver Apartments, 323 Matthews Road, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Friday for Howze’s arrest.

Warrant signed: Dameon Long, 38, of 821 Broad Ave., North Belle Vernon, is charged by township police with forgery and theft over allegations he altered a $40 check to cash it June 24 at an Exxon station, 900 Rostraver Road, for $400, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Friday for Long’s arrest.

Highway incident: State police are investigating an incident about 9:30 a.m. Saturday at mile marker 31 on Interstate 70 eastbound in which an unknown motorist pointed a gun at another motorist.

Men cited: Brian M. Reid, 23, no known address, and David J. Plants, 48, of 306 E. Buffalo Church Road, Washington, were cited by township police for an alleged fight outside Trio Lounge, 1694 N. Main St., Washington, Saturday. Both will be cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Trespass citation: Charles L. Cole, 29, of 1080 Michigan Ave., Washington, was cited for criminal trespass for allegedly entering an unoccupied residence Sunday on Jefferson Avenue.

Two passed out in car: A baby was found in the backseat of a parked vehicle that was occupied by Kenneth Lee Brooks, 23, of 675 Addison St., and Shanon Hillbert, 23, no address listed, who were found passed out Monday in front of a house in the 800 block of Ewing Street, Washington police said. Brooks was jailed on $10,000 bond on charges of endangering the welfare children, reckless endangerment and two counts of drug possession as 46 empty stamp bags of heroin, 10 syringes and four crack pipes were found in the vehicle. Hillbert was jailed on $5,000 bond for giving a false name and information to police.

Break in: Alvaro Garcia Luna, 22, of 390 Moon Rd., Washington, faces charges of criminal trespass and harassment for using a knife to break into the residence of his child without permission, Washington police said, as the victim, Jamie Wilson, said he also shoved her son, Jeremy Wilson, while inside the home.

Theft: Ashley Lynn Loar, 26, of 172 Ohio St., Washington, faces a theft charge by summons for stealing approximately $3,100 in cash and jewelry from Kristin Emery, of 700 McKinley Ave., as Emery reported Loar was gaining access to her room through her brother and she admitted to police she stole the items to sell at pawn shops for heroin and cigarettes, Washington police said.
