Vehicle damaged: A resident of Blind Lane, Belle Vernon, told Southwest Regional police his vehicle was entered and the ignition damaged while the vehicle was parked outside his home Wednesday.

Megan’s Law violation alleged: Daniel M. Certa, 65, whose last known address was on Rural Valley Road, Buffalo, is wanted on a warrant obtained by Donegal police from District Judge Ethan Ward after allegedly failing to register his address as a sexual offender under Megan’s Law.

Theft charge: Louis R. Phillips, 57, of 206 Roosevelt St., North Franklin Township, was charged this week by state police with theft after he allegedly stole a battery from an air conditioner in the 300 block of McKee Road, Buffalo, July 4. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

False reports charge: Pamela L. Smith, 36, of 2884 S Bridge Road, Buffalo, was charged this week by state police with making a false report after she allegedly told state police someone opened a West Penn Power account using her husband’s name at their former residence in Canton Township. Police said they learned she and her husband lived at that home and had an unpaid account for that residence. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Theft, forgery charges: Alexander M. Martos, 25, of 10 Hollow Drive, Canonsburg, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on charges of theft and forgery filed by Canonsburg police. He allegedly altered credit and debit card receipts to reflect tips while working at Pizza Hut, 101 Cavasina Drive. Mark set bond at $10,000 on Martos, who had been in Washington County jail on a probation warrant.

Assault charge: Derrick W. Allen, 30, of McNary Street, Houston, was charged last week by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting a woman Aug. 14 at a home on Blaine Avenue. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Food stamps charge: Bertram Whitted, 62, of 25 VanEman St., Canonsburg, was charged by an agent with the state Department of Human Services in a private criminal complaint with fraudulently obtaining food stamps. He is accused of failing to report income from September 2015 through Feb. 29. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Assault alleged: Daniel J. Saville, 30, of 546 Pike St., Meadow Lands, was charged last week by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting a woman Aug. 28 at a home on East Pike Street. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Burglary, threats arrest: Frank Farmer, 26, of 1300 Donnan Ave., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on charges of burglary, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct filed by state police stemming from a Sept. 16 incident at a home at 54 Atlantic Drive, Canton. Mark set $10,000 bond on Farmer, who is in Washington County jail on a parole detainer.

Drug charges: Robert Welsh, 34, of 737 Findlay St., Canton, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia filed by state police. Police said they found the suspected drug at his home while serving him with a probation warrant Sept. 15. Mark set bond at $25,000 on the new charges.

DUI alleged in crash: Kevin Linnel Harris Jr., 31, of 641 Thompson Ave., Donora, is charged by township police with accidents involving property damage, driving under the influence of alcohol, obstruction and driving with a DUI-suspended license, court records show. Police accuse Harris of driving off after his vehicle traveled over an embankment and hit two storage sheds along Route 88 before striking a guardrail about 1:30 a.m. in a parking lot in the 1,100 block of Route 837. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges in a summons Wednesday.

Woman charged: Sheri Lynn Cyr, 37, who is homeless in the Charleroi area, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with two counts of possession of heroin paraphernalia in separate incidents this year, court records show. One charge stems from a drug raid on a residence in the 1200 block of Meadow Avenue about 6:30 a.m. March 10, and the other from an Aug. 27 traffic stop in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue in North Charleroi. The office of District Judge Larry Hopkins issued a warrant Tuesday for Cyr’s arrest.

Woman charged: Tationa Pirt, 20, of 827 McKean Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with trespassing at Highland Terrace about 6:25 p.m. Monday, court records show. Police filed the charge Wednesday before District Judge Mark Wilson.

Harassment charge: Wayne E. Smith, 46, of 10 McNary St., Houston, was charged last week by Houston police with stalking and two counts of harassment for allegedly stalking his wife Sept. 9. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug charge: Faith Deneen Davis, 52, of 308 Shady Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with illegal possession of one Suboxone strip and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 3:45 p.m. May 1 at Chestnut Way and Fifth Street, court records show. The office of District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges in a summons Tuesday.

Theft: Brandon Charles Perine, 23, of 101 Linden Ave., faces a theft charge by summons for stealing gas-powered hedge clippers from Maria Carranza, after she hired him to do lawn work at 313 Lenawee Ave. Sept. 15, Monessen police said.

Assault arrest: Brandon W. Hetrick, 29, of 118 Grouse Court, Venetia, was arrested Wednesday by Peters police on charges of simple assault and two counts of harassment. He is accused of hitting his wife and pushing her 11-year-old son down the steps during a confrontation at their home. Hetrick was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released from Washington County jail after posting $25,000 bond.

Assault alleged: Lylla Honey Houston, 36, of 410 Mulberry Lane, Collinsburg, is charged by township police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she punched and scratched her husband, Michael Yos, about 1 p.m. Sunday in their residence, court records show. Houston is free on unsecured bond set Monday by District Judge Charles Christner.

Items damaged: Washington police said charges are pending against the estranged husband of Devonna Christmas after he allegedly kicked the door of her home at 59 1/2 W. Katherine Ave., damaged a television and stand inside the residence and broke the front windshield of her vehicle Wednesday. He also allegedly took her purse, police said.
