Severe thunderstorms expected in Washington, Greene counties; tornadoes possible
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh is warning of severe thunderstorms and a possibility for isolated tornadoes in Washington and Greene counties.
The primary expected threat from this warning is from damaging gusts. Hail is also expected.
In Southwestern Washington County, a tornado warning has been issued by the National Weather Service. The thunderstorm was located near Valley Grove and is moving North at 30 mph. The area includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 0 and 5 and I-70 in West Virginia between mile markers 10 and 14.
