Conservation easement workshop planned
Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30 for landowners interested in preserving their farmland and applying for the County Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase program. An informational workshop will be held at 5 p.m. April 12 at the West Pike Run Township Building, 238 Pike Run Drive, Daisytown. Topics include application submission, eligibility requirements, easement restrictions, conservation plans and more. Registration is recommended by calling the Washington County Planning Commission at 724-228-6811.
