Teen charged: State police filed a terroristic threats charge in juvenile court against a 15-year-old Washington boy after he allegedly pulled a knife on his father at a home on Craft Road in Amwell March 19.

Drug arrest: Lonnie Ray Adams, 44, of 649 Gladden Road, Canonsburg, was arrested Saturday by state police after they served a search warrant at his home and said they found cocaine and scales. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. He was placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.

Woman robbed: Darlene Rubic of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Friday she was robbed of her purse containing two prescription medications and $150 the previous day as she walked in the 10 block of East Pike Street. She said the robber was a skinny black man wearing a black hooded shirt and jeans. He ran in the direction of North Central Avenue.

Charged in crash: James W. Griffin, 36, of 107 Ketchum Drive, Canonsburg, was charged last week by Canonsburg police in connection with a March 18 two-vehicle crash on Cavasina Drive. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to render aid, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost three times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Resisting, trespass charges: Robert Lee Austin Jr., 19, of 662 Jefferson Ave., Canton, was charged last week by state police with resisting arrest and criminal trespass after he allegedly refused to leave his girlfriend’s home on Crescent Drive last month. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Hindering charge: Deborah Sue Baumgardner, 57, of 174 Bench Ave., Canton, was charged last week by state police with hindering apprehension after she allegedly lied to troopers who were looking for a man. She allegedly told police he was not at her home when he was, according to court documents. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Theft, receiving charges: Kristopher M. Ion, 25, of Harmony, was charged last week by state police with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a cell phone in August from a home at 2500 1/2 W. Chestnut St., Canton. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Two face charges: Justin J. Stiles, 30, of 308 Hawthorne St., Canonsburg, and Paul Phillips, 31, of 719 N. Main St., Washington, were charged last week by state police for separate incidents last month in which they allegedly used drugs in two Canton businesses. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged in stop: Christian Russell, 39, of 250 Fair Meadow Drive, Washington, was charged last week by state police with possession of paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop last August on Country Club Road, Chartiers. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Trespass, assault charges: Tabitha Keyes, 21, of 310 First St., Elco, was arrested Sunday by RESA police on charges of simple assault, harassment, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after she allegedly assaulted a woman inside a fenced yard on Cleveland Street in Elco. She was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Woman charged: Nyccole Lynn Cooper, 44, whose last known address was in North Franklin Township, was charged last week by Houston police with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment for allegedly chasing a woman down East Pike Street Feb. 24. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Club cited: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control cited Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 520 Friday for failure to maintain complete records of alcoholic beverages sold to nonmembers over a two-year period.

Bar cited: The operators of Hey Andy Restaurant and Lounge, 1233 Rear W. Main St., Monongahela, were cited Friday by state police for allegedly serving a minor Feb. 11.

Woman charged: Roberta Wilson, 35, of Oakdale, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after she allegedly refused to leave a house on Meriage Street Friday. She is accused of breaking a window and urinating on the porch, police said. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.

PFA violation alleged: Michael P. Thornton, 41, of 341 Cleveland Road, North Franklin, was arrested Friday by North Franklin police after he allegedly violated a protection-from-abuse order by going to his estranged girlfriend’s home. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County jail on $2,500 bond.

DUI, paraphernalia charges: Police responded at 2:55 p.m. Sunday to reports of a man who was slumped over the wheel of his vehicle at Valley Brook Road and Buckeye Street, where they said they found Alexander Yesenchak, 29, exhibiting signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He failed a sobriety test, according to police, and charges of DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending.

Knife in school: Police responded at 2:10 p.m. Thursday to a report of a student with a knife at Peters Township Middle School, and they found a 14-year-old in possession of a weapon. An investigation continues.

Woman charged: Sarah Paige Digurgilliers, 23, of Pittsburgh, was arraigned Friday by District Judge Gary Havelka on a warrant obtained by state police in Pittsburgh charging her with escape for leaving Pittsburgh Community Center without permission. She was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Escape charge: Chad Michael Snyder, 24, of 1010 Garr St., Charleroi, was arraigned Friday before District Judge Gary Havelka on a charge of escape filed by state police after he failed to return to Community Corrections Center in Johnstown from a temporary leave in February. He was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

PFA violation alleged: James Mayen, 36, of 103 Cecil St., Canonsburg, was arrested Sunday by South Strabane police after he allegedly violated a protection-from-abuse order by contacting his estranged girlfriend while she was eating with her family at a Trinity Point restaurant. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and released on his own recognizance.

Keys stolen: A lock box owned by Allegra Service at 241 Walter Spur was tampered with over the weekend and keys to two vehicles were stolen, South Strabane police said.

Meters stolen, recovered: Washington police said five parking meters were stolen from a lot off North Main Street. Security from Washington & Jefferson College confronted the culprit, who dropped two of the meters and ran. Police found the other meters. The suspect is a white man in his 30s who wore a black shirt and jeans.

Money stolen: Valerie Brockington of Washington told Washington police Sunday $299 was stolen from her bank account.

Basement fire: Washington police are investigating a report of a possible intruder after it was discovered clothing and a plastic stool inside a basement apartment at 150 Hall Ave. were set on fire early Saturday. The items were still smoldering, police said, so the fire department was called.

Stickers stolen: Two state inspection stickers and two emissions stickers were reported stolen Friday from Nowak Commercial Refinishing, 609 Little Creek Road, state police said.
