Drug, fraud charges: Gerald Earl McCracken, 38, of Grindstone, was charged Monday by California police with possession of drug paraphernalia, access device fraud, disorderly conduct and a traffic violation after a traffic stop Saturday night on Pennsylvania Avenue at Wood Street. Police said he had paraphernalia and an Access card that did not belong to him. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Account accessed: Fei Ren of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Tuesday his bank account information was accessed and unauthorized purchases of $244 and $288 were made in online transactions.

Insurance fraud: Randall Jay Higgins Jr., 56, of Canton was arraigned Wednesday on charges of insurance fraud and false reports filed by state police. Police were called Nov. 29 to his home at 1873 Arlington Drive for a report of a burglary. After a four-month investigation, police determined there was a false insurance claim made to Erie Insurance by Higgins. The insurance claim was made totaling $26,677 and consisted of 99 items, police said. He was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge David Mark.

Theft charge: Ricky Wallace Lukasik, 55, of 19 Brown St., Southview, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with theft for allegedly stealing items from a former township resident. The stolen items reportedly included a Playstation, memory card, games, flat screen television, Super Nintendo and games, laptop and cellphone. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.

Boyfriend arrested: John Fowler, 22, of 560 E. Maiden St., Washington, was arrested Wednesday morning by Washington police for allegedly punching and choking his girlfriend during a confrontation at their apartment. He told police tshe struck him, but she told police he hit himself in the head. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of aggravated assault, harassment and strangulation and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Inmate arraigned: Lorenzo B. Lloyd, 30, of Washington, was arraigned by video before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges filed in two cases stemming from incidents in February. He is charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia after he was allegedly found with the drug during a Feb. 17 incident. He is charged with escape, simple assault and theft after he allegedly broke away from Constable Paul Kosey, who was taking him into custody Feb. 28, on a domestic relations bench warrant. Lloyd, was wearing handcuffs, ran from the area of Donnan and Orchard avenues. Redlinger set bond on Lloyd, who is in Washington County jail on the bench warrant, at $15,000.

Drug charges: Ashley Danikya Wallace, 24, who has no known address, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and criminal use of a communications facility filed by the Washington County Drug Task Force. Detectives were investigating a heroin trafficking ring when she allegedly sold heroin to a confidential informant on four occasions last year. She was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Business burglarized: Washington police said Premiere Auto Sales, 667 E. Maiden St., was broken into late Monday or early Tuesday. A white, 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche that was in the garage was stolen. The keys were inside the vehicle.

Vehicle stolen: Washington police said a white, 2002 Lexus ES 3000, owned by Dale Braughler of South Strabane Township, was reported stolen Tuesday from Mancuso Auto Repair, 53 Oregon St. The theft was discovered when the owner called to check on the status of repairs to the vehicle.
