A chemical cleanup crew was called to the scene of a small chemical spill after a tanker truck drove off Yohe Road in Nottingham Township on Monday morning.

Washington County director of public safety Jeff Yates said some of the styrene the truck was carrying leaked out after the accident, which occurred about 8 a.m.

The transport company sent another tanker truck to the scene of the accident and offloaded the chemical to the second truck as it prepared to tow the truck back onto the road, Yates said. A company was also called to the scene to clean up the spill.

Yates said no one was injured as a result of the accident.
