Third man arraigned in Union home invasion
A third man was arraigned Monday night in connection with a home invasion last week at a residence in Union Township.
Shane Patrick Kelly, 22, of 3591 Washington Ave., Finleyville, was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of burglary, robbery, possession of paraphernalia and conspiracy filed by Monongahela police in connection with the April 12 break-in at 6141 Brownsville Road Extension. Also charged in the theft of Air Jordan tennis shoes was Carter Scott Williams, 20, of Fallowfield Township. Kelly also allegedly stole a marijuana pipe.
Kelly told police after the robbery he was hit in the head with a revolver during a confrontation inside a vehicle driven by Andrew Michael Pro, 29, of South Park Township, and was tossed out of the vehicle by Williams. Kelly was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment.
Williams was arraigned on burglary and assault charges last week before District Judge James Ellis, who also arraigned Pro on assault-related charges. They were each placed in Washington County jail on $125,000 bonds.
Kelly was placed in jail on $100,000 bond.
