Nighttime I-70 restrictions to begin
Nighttime lane restrictions will occur on westbound Interstate 70 between the Taylorstown and Claysville exits Sunday through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting Sunday, the state Department of Transportation announced. Traffic will resume to normal flow outside of these hours.
Work should end on Oct. 6, weather permitting. As the project progresses, restrictions will also occur eastbound. Crews will perform bridge deck repair, milling and overlay, roadway repairs and drainage upgrades. The contractor on this $17 million project is Golden Triangle Construction Co.
