A Finleyville woman was one of two people killed early Thursday in a shooting at a McKeesport housing complex.

Jessica Taylor, 32, and Raffel Greene, 49, of Clairton, were shot about 12:23 a.m. as they sat in a car in a parking lot outside a building at the Crawford Village housing complex.

Allegheny County police said several calls were made to 911 reporting that shots had been fired in the area. When McKeesport police and emergency medical crews arrived, they found Greene outside an apartment building in the complex on Grandview Avenue. Taylor was found seated in the car in the lot. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

County police homicide detectives were called and determined Greene also had been in the vehicle with Taylor when he was shot. He got out of the vehicle and ran toward the street, where he collapsed, police said. Taylor never got out of the car.

Police said the motive for the shooting is not clear. Neither of the victims lived in the complex. Both were shot multiple times, police said.
