Simple assault: Amber Kay Griffin, 29, of 83 Main St., Smithfield, was charged by Greene County Regional police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after getting into a bar fight with her husband, Gage Griffin, April 8 outside O’Reilly’s Bar at 229 Mt. Morris Road in Perry Township. Police said Amber, who has a PFA order against Gage, went into the bar to take the car that Gage was driving, according to the criminal complaint. She confronted Gage at the bar and took the car keys, the complaint said. Gage followed her out of the bar, where the two of them fought in the parking lot, according to police. Police said Amber threw the keys to the car over a hillside and kicked Gage in the forehead. Gage, 23, of 324 Moffit Road, Mt. Morris, was previously charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and two counts each of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment for the same incident.

Theft: Jesse James Tinsley, 32, of 115 Jefferson Road, Franklin Township, was charged by Greene County Regional police with three counts each of theft and receiving stolen property and one count each of unauthorized use of an automobile, theft from a motor vehicle and driving while under suspension after a man reported his truck and tractor were stolen last week. Police said Tinsley allegedly stole a tractor and a purple truck belonging to David Conaway from Conaway’s parents’ residence in Jefferson. Tinsley then allegedly sold the tractor for $200 to a pawn dealer in Wayne Township April 17. When the dealer asked Tinsley if the tractor was stolen, “Tinsley swore ‘on my child’s heartbeat’ that it was not stolen,” the complaint said. Conaway told police he saw the truck behind Tinsley’s residence without a license plate. Police filed an arrest warrant for Tinsley April 19.

Terroristic threats: Lori Wood, 41, of 132 Good Hill Road, Prosperity, was charged by Waynesburg police with four counts of terroristic threats and one count of harassment after she allegedly sent on Thursday several text messages, threatening to kill three different people and threatening to burn down a horse barn belonging to one of the victims. Police said Wood had texted a former employer who recently fired Wood. Police said one of the texts threatened to shoot the victim and her brother with the victim’s dead father’s pistol. The accusers then notified Waynesburg police of the text messages.
