A Washington man was reported missing Saturday night to Washington police after he failed to show up for work the previous day at the McDonald’s restaurant in Peters Township.

Milo Briggs Jr., 63, was last seen Thursday leaving the restaurant on Route 19. His sister told police that his green 2002 van was not parked in the lot near his apartment at 235 W. Chestnut St. She told police that he had a recent bout with depression and also had been having money troubles.

Police went to Briggs’ apartment and were let in by a manager. He was not in the apartment, and everything appeared to be in order. A neighbor told police that he had not seen Briggs in the last several days.

Briggs is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds and has blue eyes. He is balding with white hair on the side of his head. His van, possibly an Astro van, has license plate JFJ-5672.

Anyone who sees Briggs or his van or has any information is asked to call 911 or the Bring Our Missing Home tip line at 810-294-4888.
