PITTSBURGH (AP) – A tanker truck crash has closed the inbound lanes of a major highway into Pittsburgh, creating rush-hour detours for thousands of morning commuters.

The truck crashed into concrete median on Route 28 near Millvale, just outside of the city limits, about 6 a.m. Tuesday.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured. The highway into the city was closed indefinitely as crews worked to clean up oil or fuel from the wreck, and to remove the truck.
