Interstate 70 traffic stoppages planned tonight
There will be traffic stoppages on Interstate 70 in both directions starting at 8 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Thursday for the demolition of bridge across the highway on Crossridge Road between Kennedy Road and Route 481 in Fallowfield Township.
The stoppages will occur in 15 minute intervals to remove the span. Once the bridge is removed, Crossridge Road will dead end at Kennedy Road on the north side. A cul-de-sac will be built on the south side that can be accessed from Route 481.
The contractor on this $26 million project is Gulisek Construction.
