Disorderly charge: Tasia J. Lofton, 20, of Duquesne, was charged Wednesday by California police with disorderly conduct after allegedly causing a disturbance inside Flatz Express at Vulcan Village on Monday.

Assault arrest: Bryan Keith Allen, 37, of 4525 Route 40, Claysville, was arrested Thursday by Donegal police on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly punched his wife during a confrontation at their home. He left before police arrived and was later found at work. Allen was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Child endangerment alleged: Danielle Marie Nangle, 34, of 652 Knox Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with endangering the welfare of a child over allegations she suffered a heroin overdose in her bathroom, leaving a used syringe within reach of a toddler about noon Tuesday, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charge in a summons Thursday.

Drug charge: Jonathan R. Mayo, 33, of Pittsburgh, was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of cocaine stemming from a March 31 incident in the parking lot of The Meadows Casino. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Robbery, assault arrest: Megan Elizabeth Moore, 37, of 121 Seminary Road, Avella, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and conspiracy. She is accused of robbing a woman at her Eleanor Street home on April 7 after going to the residence to borrow money. According to police, Moore was given $20 but said she wanted $40. When she did not get the additional money, Moore reportedly made a call. According to the alleged victim, Moore unlocked the front door and two men came inside the home with a gun. Police said they threatened to kill the alleged victim and stole about $800 and prescription medication. When they ran outside, the alleged victim’s husband ran after them. Police said he was hit in the head with a gun. Moore was released on $20,000 unsecured bond.

Crash reported: Brent H. Wood, 26, of Avella, told state police that his truck and a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction on a narrow section of Jolly School Road struck driver’s side mirrors about 5:30 p.m. Monday. The other vehicle did not stop, police said.

Receiving charge: Fredrick Pochiba, 54, of Washington, was arraigned Friday before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and traffic violations. Police received information that he was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck that he allegedly stole in Nottingham, N.H. Police said he reportedly took the truck for a test drive and never returned. Police stopped him Thursday turning from Locust Avenue onto Verona Drive. He was placed in Washington County Jail on a bench warrant Thursday. Weller set bond at $10,000.

Drug charges: Vincent A. Orrico, 18, of Uniontown, was charged Tuesday by state police with possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of paraphernalia stemming from a March 16 traffic stop near the intersection of Cameron and Washington roads, South Strabane. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: April Lea Gumm of Marlinton, W.Va., will be charged by South Strabane police with retail theft after she allegedly stole clothing Wednesday from Walmart, Trinity Point.

Vehicle damaged: Sandra Fender of 530 Warrick Drive told South Strabane police Wednesday that eggs were thrown on her vehicle, damaging the paint.

Theft case: A 52-year-old resident told state police someone stole a lawn mower from outside his residence at 309 Newtown Ave. Thursday or Friday.

False ID charge: Allysha Ford, 35, of Chicago, Ill., will be charged by Washington police with false identification to police. She was a passenger in a vehicle stopped Wednesday on Jefferson Avenue. She reportedly gave police an Ohio identification card with another name on it. Police took her to the state police barracks to do a scan of her fingerprints to determine her real name.

Window broken: Howard Moats of 389 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Wednesday that the front window of his home was broken by a vandal.

House burglarized: Joan Creeley of Addison Street told Washington police Wednesday that a television, laptop computer and jewelry were stolen in a burglary of her home. It was the second time in a week her home was burglarized.

Purse stolen: Carol Reilly of 10 Leet St. told Washington police that her purse was stolen from her vehicle early Wednesday. Surveillance video from a nearby camera shows two black men in their late teens or early 20s and a heavy-set black woman with short hair entering the vehicle.

Gas can stolen: James Stewart of 325 Donnan Ave. said his red gasoline can filled with five gallons of gas was stolen from outside his home. Charges are pending.

Wallet stolen: Anna Phelan of Washington told Washington police that her wallet was stolen from her vehicle Thursday while it was parked at Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St. No cash was inside the wallet, but one of her credit cards was used at a Dollar General before she could cancel it.

Copper stolen: Ten copper grounding bars used to ground antennas for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon were stolen from the roof of the Washington Trust Building, 6 S. Main St., Washington police said. An employee for AT&T discovered the theft Thursday.
