Police Beat Aug. 6
Burglary, theft reported: A woman, 59, living at 1950 S. Eighty Eight Road, told state police two men entered an unlocked shed and stole three Stanley roofing nailers about 3:30 a.m. July 29. She reported one man then tore the screen off a basement window and entered the house, and after seeing the other kneeling outside, she hollered and both suspects fled toward Route 88.
Assault reported: A Dilliner man is accused of assaulting his wife about 11:30 p.m. July 24 at 223 Main St. Patricia Jane Presock, 38, told state police, following an argument, Bryan Dale Presock, 37, threw her to the ground outside their residence and kicked her in the head multiple times as she yelled for help. Police said the accused stopped and the victim called them from a neighbor’s home.
Thefts alleged: Two women, a 23-year-old from the township and a 20-year-old from Cedar Bluff, Va., reported to state police they had items stolen from unlocked cars between 3 p.m. July 16 and 3 p.m. July 17.
Mischief case: A man, 53, told state police his vehicle was scratched July 4 at Econo Lodge hotel, 126 Miller Road.
