Liberty Tunnel to close tonight

There will be an overnight closure of the Liberty Bridge in Pittsburgh from 8 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.

The closure will occur so crews can conduct preparatory work for upcoming weekend latex overlay operations. Additionally, the inbound Liberty Tunnel will close to traffic.

There will be no restrictions in the outbound Liberty Tunnel. The PJ McArdle Roadway will remain open.
