A California man was in Washington County jail Friday, following a police raid at 633 American St. in California Borough.

The Washington County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant following a several months-long investigation into cocaine trafficking at the house, according to the office of Washington County District Attorney Gene Vittone.

The raid resulted in the arrest of David Wayne Brown III, 25, who was charged on separate drug delivery charges. Brown was arraigned before District Justice Joshua Kanalis and placed in jail after he failed to post bond.

Additional charges are pending against Brown, according to police.

Police said they seized cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, a .380 caliber semi-auto pistol and cash.

California Borough police and Washington County Sheriff Deputies assisted at the scene.
