Trinity partners with Penn Commercial
Trinity High School students will have an opportunity to complete a degree at Penn Commercial Business and Technical School through a partnership between the school district and Penn Commercial.
The school board earlier this month approved an agreement between the schools that permits Trinity students to enroll part-time in Penn Commercial’s Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy.
The salon is located in Oak Spring Plaza in Washington, and students will receive hands-on instruction in cutting-edge techniques in cosmetology.
The cost to the school district is $2,499 per student for tuition, books, supplies and transportation.
“This is a great opportunity for our students to get an early start on certification while they’re still in school here,” said Superintendent Michael Lucas. “We’re very excited about the new partnership.”
