Drug task force arrests Wilkinsburg man
Washington County Drug Task Force arrested a Wilkinsburg man Monday after he allegedly sold heroin to a confidential source.
Shawn Bernard Nichols, 26, is charged with four counts each of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia.
A source told detectives and a Canonsburg officer affiliated with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency arrangements could be made to purchase heroin from Nichols. The source allegedly purchased the suspected drug from Nichols, who was later taken into custody.
Nichols was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $150,000 bond. He is scheduled for an Aug. 23 preliminary hearing before District Judge David Mark.
