Six accepted into the ARD program by Greene County Court
WAYNESBURG – Six criminal defendants were entered into the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program Tuesday by Greene County Judge Louis Dayich.
Those accepted into the program serve at least one year of probation. Defendants charged with driving under the influence may also have their driving privileges suspended. Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.
George Palliden Lewis, 44, of 362 Ullery Road, Carmichaels; charged with theft and access device used to obtain property; between April 1 and May 31, 2016, Lewis used a gas credit card from a former employer to purchase $425.15 worth of gasoline at area gasoline stations.
John David Yellets, 70, of 126 Water St., Rices Landing, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary traffic violation; arrested Feb. 6 following a crash on Goslin Road in Jefferson Township, Yellets had a blood-alcohol content of 0.154 percent.
Trevon Lorenzo Stewart, 20, of 1301 Hopewell Ridge Road, Sycamore; charged with DUI and a controlled substance and three summary violations; Stewart was arrested Jan. 1; a blood test indicated he had a BAC of 0.045 percent and was under the influence of marijuana.
James Edward Catalogna, 34, of 238 Crossroads Road, Wana, W.Va.; charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; arrested following a one-vehicle crash in Perry Township Feb. 26, Catalogna was in possession of five Xanax pills and several syringes; he refused a BAC test.
Douglas Ray Osborne, 43, of 511 Country Club Road, Washington; charged with DUI and three summary violations; arrested following a traffic stop March 18 in Waynesburg, he had a BAC of 0.127 percent.
Tonya M. Dodson, 45, of 112 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg; charged with DUI; arrested Sept. 4, 2016, in Waynesburg, Dodson had a BAC of 0.181 percent.
