Police Beat Aug. 28
Theft arrest: Kristine Marie Seeholzer, 26, of Holbrook, was charged by state police with felony retail theft after she allegedly stole items from Hidden Treasures, Greene Plaza, Franklin, Aug. 18. State police said she went into the store and changed into a pair of pants belonging to the store. She also allegedly placed merchandise including a pair of shorts and pants into her bag.
Disorderly, traffic charges: John E. Bailey, 60, of Brownsville, was charged by state police with disorderly conduct, improper passing, careless driving and driving with a suspended license after he allegedly got out of his car and got into a verbal altercation with another driver Aug. 16 on Route 188 west at Valley Farm Road, Franklin. Both vehicles were stopped at a red light.
Bar burglarized: Two burglars broke into O’Reilly’s Pub, 221 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, about 4 a.m. Thursday, state police said. The jukebox was damaged and money was stolen from it, police said. About $100 was also stolen from the cash register, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Gun stolen: A man not identified by state police told a trooper his Springfield XD40 .40-caliber pistol was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 1341 Washington Road, Prosperity, Friday afternoon. The gun is black with a 4-inch barrel. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
