A Westland man was arrested Friday on a warrant obtained earlier that day by North Strabane Township police on charges filed in connection with the burglary of a home last month.

Alberto Zambrana Moss, 23, of 153 Meadow St., is charged with burglary, conspiracy, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. Police also obtained warrants for Chelsea Hoberek, 23, of 35 Raven Drive, Canonsburg, and Shaelynn Marie Saunoras, 24, of 430 Blue Jay Drive, Canonsburg.

Police were called Nov. 14 to 117 Cherry St. for a report of an assault at the home.

An occupant told police he and his stepfather were about to leave the house when his stepfather opened the door and saw Hoberek, who allegedly forced her way into the home and assaulted one of the occupants. She then continued to hit two occupants as they both fell to the floor.

Saunoras and Moss also allegedly came into the home and got into a confrontation with the occupants. A door was damaged during the incident, police said.

The three reportedly fled from the home, running up the driveway toward Ash Street.

Moss was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond. He is scheduled for a Dec. 12 preliminary hearing before District Judge Jay Weller.
