Bentleyville man dies at ArcelorMittal plant in Monessen
A Bentleyville man died Sunday night at the ArcelorMittal Coke Plant in Monessen.
According to a report Tuesday from the Washington County coroner’s office, Robert Klett, 60, was found unresponsive about 10:45 p.m. Sunday at the plant at 345 Donner Ave.
The report said the cause of death was blunt-force trauma to the chest, and that it is being investigated as an accidental death by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The report did not say what happened at the plant that night, but it said there were no witnesses to the incident.
ArcelorMittal could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
