Jeannine Burkett and Carol Harrison, along with other members of the Town & Country Garden Club, decorated a tree for the 15th Annual Christmas Tree Extravaganza at the Carmichaels First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The “Old Glory Christmas” is a patriotic-themed for the tree that features flags, stars, hats, red white and blue bulbs and poppies made by hospitalized veterans. The tree is among 23 trees displayed until Friday at the Fellowship Hall, 104 W. South Street, Carmichaels. People can purchase tickets and place them in a tree’s collection can at the base of the tree. Winners will be announced Friday, with all proceeds from the decorated trees benefiting the Cumberland Township Food Pantry.
