CANONSBURG

Account accessed: Georgiann Robbins of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Tuesday that $2,500 was charged to one of her accounts without permission.

CANTON

Unauthorized use: Robert Matthew Wetzel, 22, of 796 Baird Ave., Canton, was charged this week by state police with unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after he allegedly took his father’s vehicle without permission Nov. 12. He also allegedly kicked in the door of his father’s home. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

CECIL

Assault arrest: Juan Sebastian Perez, 24, of Tamarac, Fla., was arrested Tuesday by Cecil police on charges of simple assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and reckless driving after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and then chased after her in his vehicle when she drove off on Georgetown Road to Baker Road. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.

CHARTIERS

Driver charged: Shawn I. Bistarkey, 38, off 214 Washington Ave., Hickory, was charged this week by Chartiers police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of heroin and paraphernalia and driving under suspension stemming from a Sept. 28 incident in the 500 block of Western Avenue. Police were called to the area for a report of a reckless driver. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Assault charges: Michael Wayne Wise Jr., 29, of 1067 Redstone Road, North Franklin Township, was charged by North Franklin police with simple assault, domestic violence and harassment after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face Tuesday night at his residence. Police said Wise and his girlfriend had been arguing Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, when she allegedly took a beer out of his hand and poured it over his head. Wise allegedly then struck her in the face and pushed her in the stomach, according to court documents.

WASHINGTON

False identification alleged: Laron Gilmore, 39, of 174 Jollick Manor, Washington, was charged by Washington police with false identification to law enforcement following a one-vehicle crash in August. Police said Gilmore was the passenger in the vehicle that crashed on Ridge Avenue on Aug 11. When police asked for his name, Gilmore allegedly gave them a false one and told them he was from Indiana, according to court documents.

Fraudulent use: Marian Farmer of Canton Township told Washington police Tuesday that her debit card was used without her permission to withdraw $2,862.50 from her account at two locations in the city between Nov. 27 and Friday.

Display stolen: James Munroe of 395 Broad St. told Washington police Tuesday that two sets of Star Shower lights in his Christmas display were stolen from outside his home.

Assault charge: Gracie A. Mitchell, 24, of 750 Fayette St., Washington, was charged by Washington police with simple assault after she allegedly kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach in August. Police said the alleged victim was walking in the 900 block of Addison Street with her 7-year-old niece about 9 p.m. Aug. 16 when Mitchell allegedly exited a vehicle, pushed the woman to the ground and kicked her in the forehead, nose and stomach. The alleged victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to the criminal complaint.
