North Strabane police charge Bridgeville man with sexually assaulting girl
A Bridgeville man was charged Thursday by North Strabane police after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl at a home in the township.
Gerald W. Mours, 68, of 926 Mill Court, is charged with two counts each of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent assault of a child younger than 16.
Police said the assaults occurred Oct. 3 and 10.
The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller. A preliminary hearing before Weller will be scheduled later.
