Theft: About $80 cash was reportedly taken from an 83-year-old woman’s purse between 3 and 5 p.m. Thursday on Center Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police barracks in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Stolen handgun: A .45-caliber Springfield XDS pistol was reportedly stolen from the center console of a vehicle on Rinehart Lane. The theft reportedly occurred between 8:20 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police barracks in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
