FRANKLIN

Theft from motor vehicle: A vehicle at 25 Rinehart Lane was entered between Wednesday and Friday and a .45-caliber pistol was stolen from the center console, state police said.

Money taken: A woman reported $80 taken from her purse between 3 and 5 p.m. Thursday while she was at 300 Center Ave., state police said.

MONONGAHELA

Burglary: State police are seeking information about approximately $7,200 worth of construction tools and materials that were taken from a Lincoln Contracting site at 495 Hunting Hills Road between Nov. 21 and 28.

JEFFERSON

Property damage charge: Susan Ann Smith, 47, of 214 Pine St., was charged Thursday by state police with accidents involving damage to a vehicle or property and four summary driving offenses. State police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 188 at Hamilton St.on Nov. 19. One of the vehicles involved, allegedly driven by Smith, left the scene and was found against a set of steps after it had gone through a wooden fence behind the Jefferson Hotel.
