CANONSBURG

DUI crash: William Tomsic, 405 Bluff St., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with driving under the influence of alcohol after he crashed his vehicle into a tree Saturday night at the intersection of Bluff and Hawthorne streets, Police said the vehicle then flipped on its side. Tomsic’s blood alcohol level was almost double the 0.08 limit presumed for intoxication.

DONORA

Drug arrest: Jennifer Brake, 35, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Friday on a warrant obtained by Donora police charging her with conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a Nov. 9 traffic stop at the intersection of South McKean Avenue and Walnut Street. She was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.

MONESSEN

Assault alleged: Michael R. Dragicevich, 47, of 410 Second St., Donora, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he elbowed his girlfriend, Stephanie Berie, in the face about 8:10 p.m. Dec. 5 at their residence. He is free on $10,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Frank J. Pallone Jr.

Drug charge: Cordell I. Aldrich, 21, of 116 Clarence Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Monessen police with drug possession, tampering with evidence and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Aldrich of possessing a small bag of cocaine and attempting to hide it during a traffic stop about 3:10 a.m. Saturday on Schoonmaker Avenue. He is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

NEW EAGLE

Theft arrest: Kimberly Ann Sobczak, 37, of 167 First Ave., New Eagle, was arrested Friday on a warrant obtained by Monongahela police charging her with theft of property lost or mislaid. She is accused of stealing a debit card accidentally left on the counter of the 7 Eleven in New Eagle on Dec. 2. Sobczak is seen on surveillance video putting it into her purse. She was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and released from Washington County Jail on $2,500 bond.

NORTH STRABANE

School bus crash: No one on a Canon-McMillan school bus was injured but the driver of a second vehicle was hurt in a collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of Morganza Road and Southpointe Boulevard. North Strabane police said Amy J. Walsh, 47, of 207 Doubletree Drive, Venetia, was stopped for a traffic sign when her car was hit from behind by the bus driven by Leonard Eugene Bennett Jr., 64, of 47 Payne Place, Canonsburg. There were 29 Canonsburg Middle School students on the bus at the time, police said.

ROSTRAVER

Man charged: Robert Park Supra Jr., 30, of 431 Belrose Drive, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with escape, resisting arrest and possession of a small amount of marijuana, court records show. Police accuse Supra of breaking free from an officer and fleeing after being taken into custody as a suspect in a Monessen theft case about 12:20 Oct. 23 at 100 Sara Way. The officer captured him during a foot chase. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges last week via summons.

WASHINGTON

Driver charged: Justin E. Gump, 31, of 92 Mesta Drive, Canton Township, was arrested Sunday night by state police after a traffic stop that started on Interstate 70 east and ended at the intersection of Hallam and Jefferson avenues in Washigton. Police were initially called for a report of a reckless driver on the highway. Gump got off at the Jefferson Avenue exit and continued to drive before he was stopped. Gump also reportedly refused to get out of the vehicle. Gump was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges including fleeing or eluding police, driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Items stolen: Brian Haase, 530 W. Chestnut St., told Washington police Sunday that a television, keys and cellphone were stolen from his apartment. He told police that he allowed a woman to stay with him for a few days. When he returned home, she was gone along with the items. He told police that he did not know her last name.

Decorations damaged: Luanne Ayres, 245 W. Hallam Ave., told Washington police Saturday that her Christmas decorations were stolen from outside her home.

Girl missing: Leilanni F. Jones, 16, was reported missing by her foster parent from her home at 360 McCarrell Ave., on Saturday. She is biracial, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue Ugg boots, black T-shirt, blue or red hooded shirt and black leggings. Police said she has run away in the past from foster homes and has ties to Pittsburgh.

Ring stolen: Judy Caldwell, 740 Maple Ave., told Washington police Friday that a diamond ring with a silver band and $87 in coins were stolen from her home.
