Theft report: A woman on West College Street reported finding $280 missing from a drawer in her apartment. She had last seen the money the night before. The woman identified a suspect for police, but said she didn’t want to press charges. The officer who took the report said he planned to contact the person whom the woman named.
Drug charges: Borough police charged Kesean J. Polk, 35, with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence in connection with a Nov. 17 search of an apartment in the 500 block of Blaine Avenue where Polk was reportedly staying. Police said a search of Polk’s bedroom revealed two digital scales with white residue, a spark plug smoking pipe and a cellphone and charger. Police said they found a knotted plastic bag of crack and a plastic bag of marijuana in the toilet. Police said one of Polk’s roommates and another man who reportedly was in the apartment at the time told officers they saw Polk near the bathroom about the same time police arrived. Police obtained an arrest warrant Thursday from District Judge David Mark.
