CANONSBURG

Vehicles collide: Todd Aquilino, 54, of 505 Franklin Ave., Canonsburg, and Wilma Solensky, 73, of Moore Avenue, Canonsburg, refused treatment when their vehicles collided about 5:20 p.m. Monday at the intersection of First Street and Gladden Road, Canonsburg police said.

Wallet stolen: Nicole Populo of East Pike Street, Canonsburg, told Canonsburg police Monday afternoon her wallet was stolen from the counter at McDonald’s restaurant, Bobby Vinton Boulevard after she mistakenly left it behind. She returned a few minutes later, and it was gone. Police were told a heavyset woman, believed to be in her 50s, picked up the wallet and left in a white car. Populo’s credit card was used to make a purchase at Dollar General in Canonsburg a short time later. She told police she also had $250 and gift cards in the wallet.

Club cited: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement issued several citations Friday to the officers of the French Club, 527 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg. Alcoholic beverages were reportedly sold for consumption off premises, alcoholic beverages were sold to nonmembers and patrons also reportedly did not leave the bar within 30 minutes after closing. The club also allowed patrons to possess or remove beverages from the area used for the service of alcoholic beverages and sold beverages between 3 and 7 a.m.

CHARLEROI

Assault alleged: Michael David Crawford, 26, of 710 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with strangulation, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. The charges stem from an alleged assault on his girlfriend at about 11:35 a.m. Saturday at his residence. Crawford is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Man charged: Andrew Armbruster, 40, of 514 Short St., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he punched, shoved and dragged Jamie Rigdon in his residence about 7:15 p.m. Oct. 20, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges via summons Friday.

CLAYSVILLE

Theft charge: Jaimie Riddle of 399 Old National Pike, Claysville, was charged Tuesday by McGuffey School District police with theft of services after she allegedly failed to pay $593 for school lunches for her child between Aug. 24 and Dec. 13. She reportedly failed to respond to a letter sent to her from the district’s business office or return calls to district police. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

DONORA

Wife, son assaulted: Kenneth R. Wehring, 58, of 515 Second St., Donora, was arrested Monday by Donora police on two counts each of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched his wife and son during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.

ELLSWORTH

Strangulation arrest: Maceo Valentino Williams Sr., 40, of 999 E. Maiden St., Washington, was arrested Monday night by state police on two counts each of strangulation, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly strangled his sister and her boyfriend during a confrontation at a home on South Main Street, Ellsworth. Williams was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.

MONESSEN

Knife incident: Ti-Heira Leketta Watson, 19, of 471 Reed Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and reckless endangerment, court records show. Police accuse Watson of slashing Burnie Townsend in the forehead with a kitchen knife during a disturbance in her residence about 1:15 p.m. Thursday. Watson is free on $10,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Mark J. Bilik.

Assault alleged: Todd Houseman, 41, of 532 Rostraver St., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he struck Constance Tuttle in the mouth about 3:15 p.m. Sunday at his residence. He is free on $2,500 unsecured bond set Monday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

NORTH BETHLEHEM

Driver hurt: Sandra Kotwica, 69, of Burgettstown, was slightly injured Dec. 12 when her vehicle hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Justin Doyle, 40, of Eighty Four, which stopped on Route 519 at Rainey Road, state police said. Police did not indicate if she sought medical treatment. Doyle was not hurt.

PETERS

Theft from trash receptacle: Cash that had been placed on a trash receptacle was reported stolen at 9:30 p.m. Sunday from the 100 block of Linksview Drive. A resident noticed that the $40, which was intended as a gift for collectors, was missing about five minutes after it was placed there, police said.

Theft from vehicle: A resident of the 100 block of Hardwood Drive reported at 9:30 a.m. Sunday items were stolen from a vehicle parked at the home, including an iPad tablet with a tracking device. Police were able to locate Jayson Robert Oelschlager, 27, of Bethel Park, whom they said admitted to taking the items. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of theft from a motor vehicle, according to police.

Holiday decoration stolen: Police received a report Monday of a 5 ½-foot-tall drummer boy statue, valued at $350, taken from a yard on Snowberry Circle.

Theft from garage: Employees of a company hired to clean an unoccupied residence in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive reported Monday about $2,000 worth of items had been stolen from the garage, including eight shelving units, heavy-duty trash cans, halogen work lights, a Milwaukee brand drill battery, a television and miscellaneous cleaning supplies. No forced entry was evident, police said. The incident is under investigation.

Disorderly conduct charge: Police were called to Pizzaz Italian Restaurant, 2850 Washington Road, shortly before midnight Saturday for reports of a disturbance in the parking lot. Janelle Bancroft, 30, of Peters Township, who had been asked to leave the establishment, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to police.

ROBINSON

Girlfriend arrested: Cady Christina Snatchko, 23, of 1350 Hilltop Drive, Bulger, was arrested Monday night by McDonald police on charges of simple assault and harassment after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend at their Robinson home. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop in McDonald. Snatchko was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and released from Washington County jail after posting $250 bond.

SMITH

Assault arrest: Robert L. Paris Jr., 52, of 1938 Smith Township Road, Slovan, was arrested Monday by Smith police on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly assaulted a man in his apartment. Paris is also accused of kicking the door to his apartment. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

SOUTH STRABANE

Endangerment, assault arrest: William Joseph Hannah, of 231 Dodd Drive, South Strabane, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant obtained by township police charging him with endangering the welfare of children and two counts of simple assault and harassment stemming from an incident at his home. He is accused of assaulting his fiancée and a 14-year-old boy at his home on Dec. 14. He reportedly hit his fiancée, knocking her to the floor, as she held their 2-month-old child. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Card accessed: Morgan McCloski of Donnan Avenue told South Strabane police her credit card was used to purchase a laptop computer that was then delivered to her home.

WASHINGTON

Simple assault: Gary Coleman Jr., 25, of 384 Houston St., Washington, was charged by state police with unlawful restraint, simple assault and harassment following a crash early Tuesday morning in the 700 block of East National Pike in Amwell Township. Police said at the scene of the crash, Coleman told them he was attempting to make a turn but lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. Police said Coleman also told them his passenger and girlfriend sustained facial injuries during the crash, but that’s not what his girlfriend told police at the scene. According to the criminal complaint, she told police Coleman struck her in the face several times, “knocking her out,” at a residence at 365 Houston St. The woman told police she woke up in the car just minutes before the crash. Coleman was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger Tuesday afternoon and jailed on a 10 percent, $5,000 bond. Coleman’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 8.

Drug charges: John Anthony McClain Sr., 54, of an unknown Washington address, was charged by the Washington County Drug Task Force with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance following an incident Feb. 25, 2015. Police said McClain allegedly sold two stamp bags of heroin for $30 to a confidential informant that evening in a parking lot in the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue in Washington. McClain was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger Monday morning and jailed on $2,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 3.
