Food stamp fraud: Debra S. Brown, 49, of 1628 S. Eighty-Eight Road, Greensboro, was charged Wednesday with fraud to obtain food stamps or assistance. The state Office of the Inspector General said Brown failed to report her adult son’s employment resulting in the receipt of $2,753.54 in benefits to which she was not entitled from May to October.
