Strangulation charges: Gary Michael Coffman, 30, of Dilliner, was charged by state police with strangulation, simple assault and two counts of harassment following a domestic dispute Friday night. Police said Coffman was involved in a domestic altercation with a 34-year-old Dilliner woman and a 13-year-old Dilliner boy at a residence in Monongahela Township about 11:50 p.m. No other information was available about the incident. Coffman was arraigned by District Judge Lee Watson at 9 a.m. Sunday and jailed on $5,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Jan. 4.
