Police said Remington was found to be in possession of a marijuana grinder with residue on it.

CANONSBURG

Robbery: Seven Hills Convenience Store at 368 Euclid Ave. was robbed by a man with a gun Saturday afternoon. The owners, Pramod Patel and his wife, Vimla, reported to Canonsburg police that a man came in the store about 1:30 p.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register. Pramod Patel told police that the man pointed the gun at him while he was in an office. Vimla Patel, who was behind the counter, opened the register and gave the man all the cash that was inside, about $500, police said. The man reportedly told the owners that he just wanted the money and didn’t “want to hurt anyone.” The owners said the man has been in the store a few times previously, but they didn’t know his name.

The man told police that he was walking to Family Dollar when two men approached him and asked him if he could spare $1, police said.
