An Amwell Township woman is facing several charges after a man who was in a vehicle with her allegedly overdosed on heroin last month in a vehicle in McDonald.

Shanna Nikole Barllier, 24, of Headley Road will be charged by McDonald police with unsworn falsification, tampering with evidence and driving without a license.

Police found emergency medical personnel attending to the victim in a parking lot behind 125 S. McDonald St. Jan. 22. The victim had been given Naloxone after he reportedly ingested two bags of heroin.

Police talked with Brallier about the incident. Police said she was not cooperating with them, thereby not granting her immunity of the state’s Drug Overdose Act.

Brallier did give police a statement, but police found Facebook messages and saw surveillance video that refuted both her verbal and written statements.

Officer Richard France talked with her four days after the incident and she reportedly told him that her original written statement was entirely false.

Brallier told the officer she knows the victim and took him to either Crafton or Pittsburgh to purchase heroin. She also allegedly admitted she moved several of his syringes, putting them in a lunch box inside the trunk of the vehicle. Brallier reportedly told France she moved the items because she was afraid she would be arrested. Police obtained permission to search the car from the owner and found several syringes and two stamp bags of suspected heroin inside the lunch box in the trunk.

The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
