East Finley man killed in crash
An East Finley Township man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Thursday on Burnsville Ridge Road in East Finley.
Benjamin Howard II, 51, was driving south in the area of 944 Burnsville Ridge Road about 12:30 a.m. when his pickup truck went off the road and hit a guardrail. The truck then crossed the road and struck a tree head-on, state police said.
Howard, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, according to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco. Howard was the fourth person killed on Washington County roads this year.
