Fort Pitt Bridge work planned
Overnight lane restrictions in the outbound Fort Pitt Tunnel in Pittsburgh will begin Monday night.
Single-lane restrictions will occur weeknights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through March 10. Restrictions will not occur until two hours after the end of any Penguins home game. Additionally, a single-lane restriction will occur on the outbound Parkway West (Interstate 376) between the Fort Pitt Tunnel and the Route 51 overpass.
Crews from Mosites Construction will install an extension to the fire suppression standpipe system in the tunnel.
