Wanted Aliquippa man and woman arrested in Hanover
An Aliquippa man and woman who are wanted in West Virginia on grand larceny charges were arrested on warrants Wednesday in Hanover Township.
Acting on a request by police in Follansbee, Hanover police arrested without incident Fred Eric Fisherman, 54, and Charlene Robin Sessie, 53, at 1100 Steubenville Pike about 4:40 p.m., court records show.
Fisherman and Session, both of 2854 Broadhead Road, were charged by township police with arrest prior to requisition, court records show.
District Judge Larry Hopkins sent them to Washington County jail without bond pending their extradition to Brooke County, W.Va.
The warrants for their arrests were issued Jan. 12 after a landlord, Helen Hedmond, complained to Follansbee police that they had signed a one-year lease in October for a business rental at 87 Main St. only to back out on it without letting her know, court records show.
Hedmond further complained that she went back to the business a month later and discovered it had been vacated and that they had taken more than $770 from her, the record alleges.
