FAIRHOPE (AP) – State police are investigating the death of a man who apparently drowned in his own Western Pennsylvania pond.

So far, the Somerset County coroner has said it appears that 47-year-old Stacy Wayne Persuhn accidentally drowned on his property in Allegheny Township. His body was found about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and authorities believe he died sometime after 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Troopers from the Somerset barracks are trying to figure out how and why Persuhn wound up in the pond.
