NORTH BETHLEHEM

Card accessed: State police said a 56-year-old North Bethlehem man reported that information from his Home Depot credit card was used to make a $1,444.42 purchase last month at a store in San Jose, Calif.

NORTH STRABANE

Drug charges: Nicholas M. Oberhaus, 22, of 161 Trotwood Drive, Canonsburg, was charged this week by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct stemming from a June 10 incident in the 500 block of Elm Street. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in stop: Tyler A. Santora, 29, of 530 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg, was charged this week by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and equipment violations stemming from a Dec. 1 traffic stop at the intersection of DiCio Street and Mitchell Drive. Toxicology tests showed he had cocaine in his system, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Patient charged: Jody Dawn Theiss, 60, of 141 W. Pike St., Houston, was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with suspected Vicodin while being treated at Canonsburg Hospital on Dec. 21 after an incident in Canonsburg. She also allegedly chewed stamp bags of suspected heroin that were found in her mouth by a hospital employee. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Marijuana charge: Anthony M. Perry, 18, of Donegal, Westmoreland County, was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with the items Dec. 20 at the park-and-ride lot on Route 519. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

SOUTH STRABANE

Charged in crash: Matthew A. Lambert, 29, of 518 W. Pike St., Houston, was charged this week by South Strabane police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving. Police said he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle in a lot at 78 Landings Drive, South Strabane. Police said he also struck a light pole in the lot. He is believed to have had Clonazepam in his system, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Jonathon R. Cordial, 33, of Pittsburgh, was charged this week by South Strabane police with theft after he allegedly stole a roll of stamps and cash from Greenbriar, 800 Manor Drive, on Dec. 24 while waiting for a ride. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Mischief, harassment charges: Lauren A. Bowman, 24, of 520 E. Beau St., Washington, was charged this week by South Strabane police with criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct. She is accused of going to a home at 1572 E. Maiden St., looking for someone. She reportedly became angry when told that person was not there and spit in a man’s face. She also allegedly broke a window in the storm door and knocked the mailbox off the post. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Driver injured: David Esken, 51, of 188 McChain Road, Finleyville, was injured Thursday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash on Route 19 at Trinity Point Drive, South Strabane police said. The driver of the 2003 Ford Taurus that struck his pickup truck fled. The car was impounded. Esken was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Items stolen: Brad Joseph of North Franklin told South Strabane police Thursday that a compressor and three fish tanks were stolen from his unit at Wilson Self Storage, 8 Country Club Road.

WASHINGTON

Vehicles damaged: Kathleen Graff of North Franklin and Jennifer Ryan-Fitzpatrick of Washington told Washington police Thursday that their vehicles were damaged while they were inside an eviction hearing before District Judge Robert Redlinger for a resident of Maiden Square Apartments. Graff was parked on West Chestnut Street, and Ryan-Fitzpatrick was parked in the Crossroads garage. Surveillance video is being checked, police said.

Window broken: Taneka Gardner of Washington told Washington police a window on her vehicle was broken while the vehicle was parked Thursday in the 500 block of Avenue A.

Forged prescription passed: An employee of CVS, 175 W. Beau St., told Washington police that a forged prescription for a narcotic cough syrup was passed at the store Thursday.
