DORMONT (AP) – Allegheny County detectives have charged a man with fatally shooting another whose body was found in the backyard of a suburban Pittsburgh home by a woman who was letting her dog outside.

Police say 23-year-old Timothy Bevan is wanted on a criminal homicide charged in the death of 35-year-old Chaz Robinson.

Robinson’s body was found in the woman’s yard early Thursday, but police believe he had run there to hide after gunfire broke out Wednesday night in another area of Dormont.

Police didn’t immediately explain how they linked Bevan to the shooting, and a criminal complaint for the Mount Oliver man was not immediately available.

Bevan remained at large Friday and doesn’t have an attorney listed in online court records. Police say he’s a white man, about 5-foot-8 and 150 lbs.
