W.Va. woman accused of having sex with Wayne Township boy
A West Virginia woman was arrested by state police Thursday night and charged with having a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old Greene County boy last year.
State police said Kaitlynn M. Wolfe, 20, of Morgantown, and the boy had sexual intercourse on 15 occasions between July and September at the boy’s Wayne Township home.
Police did not say how they were alerted to the situation, but that they interviewed the boy Wednesday and he told them of the relationship, which allegedly occurred in his bedroom.
When Wolfe was interviewed by investigators Thursday afternoon, she initially denied having a sexual relationship with the boy, police said. However, she later admitted to police that she had sex with the boy 15 times between July and September, according to court documents.
Wolfe was arraigned Thursday night on 15 counts each of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent assault and indecent exposure. Senior District Judge Jesse Cramer set her bail at $50,000 and she was taken to the Greene County jail to await her preliminary hearing at 1:15 p.m. Thursday.
It was not clear Friday if Wolfe had an attorney representing her on the charges.
