State Sen. Camera Bartolotta, R-Carroll Township, has been appointed to serve on seven Senate committees for the 2017-18 legislative session.

In addition to serving as chair of the Intergovernmental Operations Committee, Bartolotta will continue to serve as vice chair of the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, a post she held during the 2015-16 session.

Bartolotta will also continue to serve on the Community, Economic and Recreational Development Committee, Transportation Committee and Urban Affairs and Housing Committee. Bartolotta will also serve on the Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee, which considers a variety of issues ranging from electricity rates to certain health care concerns.

“Each of these appointments offers an opportunity to make a difference for local families and local communities,” Bartolotta said.
