Gun theft: A 9 mm EAA Witness pistol was stolen from a home at 104 Franklin St., Bobtown, between 5 p.m. Friday and 5:45 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Burglary: Copper pipe was removed from an abandoned residence at 593 W. High St. in Franklin Township between Saturday and Sunday, state police said.

Two charged: Lauren Nicole Bailey, 28, of 1439 Washington Blvd., McKeesport, and Jason Brent Stevens, 31, of 471 ½ Bridge St., Waynesburg, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly stole multiple items from the Walmart store on Murtha Drive at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 16, state police said. Bailey was charged with felony retail theft and driving on a DUI-suspended license. She was jailed on $5,000 bond and a probation violation. Stevens was charged with summary retail theft.

Object thrown: A small scratch was left in the windshield of a vehicle driven by Holly White, 25, when someone in a passing vehicle threw something at it at 4:43 p.m. Sunday on Route 21 near School House Road in Franklin Township, state police said.

Crash: Matthew Canistraro, 30, of Wellsburg, W.Va., escaped injury when he fell asleep at the wheel and his vehicle struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Washington Township at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, state police said.
