Police Beat July 5
Assault arrest: Joshua W. Jones, 31, of Library, was arrested early Monday by Cecil police on a charge of simple assault after he allegedly assaulted his wife while they were at a home on Oakbrooke Drive. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.
Woman arrested: Denay Cynthia Wyke, 36, of 129 Fourth St., McDonald, was arrested Sunday by McDonald police after she allegedly hit her husband in the face several times during a confrontation at their home. She was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and released from Washington County Jail Monday after posting $25,000 bond.
Indecent exposure: Robert Neil Bozic, 63, of 9312 Noblestown Road, Robinson, was charged last week by McDonald police with open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after officers received a complaint that he was outside without any clothes. When the officer responded, Bozic was sitting in his yard reportedly visibly intoxicated and in his underwear. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
Driver faces charges: Jennifer McAnany, 27, of Washington, faces charges after she was allegedly under the influence of an illegal drug when she crashed her vehicle into two other vehicles about 10:50 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Mainfold Road, South Strabane police said. McAnany was driving east on Manifold when she crossed into the westbound lanes, hitting a vehicle driven by Mark Milsovic, 63, of Canonsburg, and then striking a vehicle driven by Steven Foye, 56, of Midway. Foye’s 56-year-old wife, Karen Foye, and McAnany were taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Police said that drug paraphernalia was found in McAnany’s vehicle.
Teen charged: A 14-year-old Mercer boy was charged by South Strabane police with criminal mischief after he allegedly stabbed a wall inside Eat ‘n Park, Oak Spring Road, with a knife early Monday.
Man charged: Joseph R. Fetsko, 37, of 929 Oak St., Marianna, was charged with possessing drug-free urine Monday. According to Washington County sheriff’s department, Fetsko, who is on probation and subject to drug testing, was found to have a bottle in his underwear by a probation officer on June 20. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Assault charge: Steven C. Loughman, 45, of 65 Gayle Drive, Washington, was charged with simple assault, probable cause of domestic violence and reckless endangerment Monday by Washington police. According to the complaint, Loughman struck Tracy Frederick Friday at 22 Victoria St., causing injury to her face and head. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
