One-vehicle crash: A pickup truck driven by Adam Gillespie, 26, of Washington, hit a guardrail on Amity Ridge Road at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday and then left the scene, state police said. Gillespie was later found at his home and initially said he was not involved in a crash, but then admitted he was. He faces a charge of accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles.

Two charged: Two people are in Washington County jail after a fight at their home at 153 Hatfield Road at 2 a.m. Saturday, state police said. Jason A. Taylor, 40, and Toyia A. Taylor, 52, reportedly got into a confrontation when he reportedly tried to remove a handgun from her. They were both arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released from Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond.

Strangulation arrest: Ronald Lee Chester Jr., 32, of 13 Scott Drive, Ellsworth, was arrested Sunday by state police on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly tried to strangle his girlfriend at a home at 119 Short St., Bentleyville. She has a protection from abuse order against him, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Unauthorized withdrawal: Shane Senaly of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Sunday $906 in unauthorized withdrawals had been made from his credit union account apparently using information obtained from his debit card.

Mischief charge: Carlos Jean Camerero Leon, 30, of 295 Hawthorne St., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with criminal mischief after he allegedly kicked the door at Guntown Beer, 585 W. Pike St., early Sunday, breaking it.

Man assaulted: Lawrence Martin, 54 of 146 McKean Ave., Donora, was arrested Sunday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He is accused of punching a man and putting him in a headlock during a confrontation at 540 Washington Ave. Martin was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.

Paraphernalia charge: Georgia Zowacki, 53, of 34 Springfield Ave., Washington, was arrested Saturday by Charleroi Regional police on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop at the intersection of First Street and McKean Avenue. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Girlfriend assaulted: Eric Brancheck, 39, of 98 Verelst Lane, Burgettstown, was arrested Friday by Hanover police after allegedly punching his girlfriend and throwing her to the floor during a confrontation at their home. She was taken to Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center for treatment. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was released from Washington County jail after posting a $10,000 percentage bond.

Cellphone stolen: Zachary Neil of Joffre told McDonald police Thursday his cellphone was stolen from the top of a gas pump at Midway Mini Mart, 101 St. John St.

Pair charged: Amy R. Hull, 35, and Malik Hull, 18, both of 1515 Sycamore St., Monessen, are each charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver and marijuana possession, court records show. Police claim to have seized about 46 grams of marijuana and 627 doses of hyrochloride during a search of their residence about 4:45 a.m. Sunday. District Judge Charles D. Moore released the Hulls on unsecured bonds.

Assault arrest: John J. Kossar, 46, of 704 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi, was arrested Sunday by Charleroi Regional police after he allegedly kicked his fiancee in the face, leaving a shoe imprint, during a confrontation at their home. He fled but was found sleeping about three blocks away on a porch. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness. He was placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.

Employee charged: Charles A. Rosol Jr., 36, of 477 Reed Ave., Monessen, was charged by township police Thursday with theft by unlawful taking. According to the complaint, Rosol worked as an auto department manager at Sears, 1500 W. Chestnut St., when he allegedly stole $2,773 over a two-month period. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Man charged: Francis J. Abate IV, 35, of 1032 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, was charged by township police with resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, accident involving damage and careless driving following a one-vehicle crash Friday. According to the complaint, Abate tried to flee from police after driving his truck through a fence and over an embankment near 1550 West Chestnut St. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Three face charges: McDonald police said three people face charges stemming from an incident about 6:30 p.m. Friday at 1003 Spring St., Robinson. Anthony Jordan Hettenschuller, 20, of 1003 Spring St., and Jenny Lynn Camp. 33, of 1517 Main St., Burgettstown, each will be charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting a woman at 1003 Spring St. when she went to the home to retrieve her global positioning unit. They are accused of pushing her and pulling chunks of hair out of her head. Camp is also charged with theft for allegedly taking the woman’s GPS unit and failing to return it. Janet L. Chechuck, 39, of 1003 Spring St., is charged with criminal mischief for allegedly kicking the victim’s vehicle, damaging it.

Two charged: George Chappell, 37, of 29 Mador Drive, Bulger, and Robert Lee Allison, 37, of Weirton, W.Va., were arrested early Sunday by Smith police after they allegedly tried to break into a home in the 900 block of Joffre-Cherry Valley Road. Chappell reportedly tried to open the door and then attempted to use an utility knife on it. Allison reportedly sat in a porch chair with his face covered with a dark bandana. They were caught trying to flee the scene. Both were charged with burglary, loitering and prowling at night and trespass. Allison is also charged with traffic violations. They were arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. Allison also was wanted on outstanding warrants.

Driver charged: Tyler M. Raimondo, 26, of Murrysville, was arrested Friday night by Smith police on charges of resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations after reportedly fleeing from a three-vehicle crash on Bavington Road near Route 18. Police said he crashed into the rear of a vehicle making a left turn before driving through a yard on Bavington, almost hitting the homeowner who was watching television in a pavilion. He drove through the yard and got back onto the road, hitting another vehicle. He then reportedly fled into a wooded area and struggled with police from Hanover and Mt. Pleasant townships, who assisted on the call. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released Monday from Washington County jail after posting $5,000 bond.

Driver hurt: Donald Keefer, 32, of Nottingham, suffered a minor injury when the vehicle he was driving hit the back of a truck early Sunday while both vehicles were driving west on Interstate 70, state police said. Keefer was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. A passenger in his vehicle, Christine Keefer, 22, of Nottingham, and the truck driver, Jodi Bryner, 33, of Lemont Furnace, were not hurt.

Threats arrest: David J. Mamaril, 47, who Washington police said is homeless, was arrested Saturday by city police on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after he reportedly threatened to hit a woman with a brick as they walked in the area of Jefferson and Hall avenues. Police said they also received several other complaints Saturday about Mamaril. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Warrant arrest: Michael Mallory Jr., 29, of 38 Central Ave., Washington, faces an escape charge after he reportedly ran from a Washington police officer who was trying to take him into custody on a bench warrant Saturday. He was taken into custody a short time later after he was seen leaving a home on Long Avenue and then trying to hide in the yard.

Pool damaged: Anthony Dinch, of 770 Broad St., told Washington police early Monday a man stabbed holes in his swimming pool.

Door damaged: Mark Mazutis told Washington police Sunday vandals damaged a door at his apartment at 155 S. Main St.
